About YM

At Yatch Master (YM), our multinational crew brings more than a decade of combined experience to vessels of every stripe—from nimble day-sailers to 100-metre super-yachts. Backed by internationally recognised rope-access credentials, we tackle sheer topsides and towering super-structures with the same precision we apply to teak rails and gelcoat. Wherever you berth, you’ll get workmanship verified by the industry’s gold-standard certifications and a finish that stands up to salt, sun, and the unrelenting seas.

Frequently Asked
Questions

How is pricing calculated?
Core packages are billed per linear foot, with surcharges for flybridges or vessels over 70 ft and multiple floors. Add-ons (teak brightening, interior deep-clean, PropSpeed, etc.) are flat-rate or hourly; you’ll approve every line item before we start.
Which areas do you service?
We’re based in Toronto and Vancouver but deploy mobile crews across the Great Lakes, BC’s Lower Mainland, and seasonally to client fleets in Dubai and Monaco. Travel outside the GTA or Vancouver Harbour is quoted case-by-case.
Do you work in-water or does my boat need to be hauled out?
Both. Our rope-access and dive-certified technicians can detail topsides while the vessel is afloat, and clean hulls, props, and running gear in the water. For gelcoat corrections below the waterline or PropSpeed application, we’ll coordinate a short haul-out at your marina.
How long does the ceramic coating really last
Our marine-grade 9H coatings resist UV, salt, and abrasion for 18–24 months on gelcoat and topsides when paired with simple rinse-downs. We include a complimentary six-month “reset” wash to maximise durability.
What happens if it rains on my scheduled date?
Light rain isn’t an issue for most services, but heavy weather or high winds can affect coating cure times. We monitor forecasts 48 hours out and will reschedule at no cost if conditions could compromise results.
